The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has REPORTEDLY fixed July 7th for the Winding up/Passing out activities of the 2021 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members nationwide.
A yet-to-be announced circular by the Scheme, which has since gone viral in the media, said the approval was given by the NYSC Director-General, a Major General.

NYSC Passing Out Events for 2021 Batch ‘B’ Corpers [Stream 1]
1. I am pleased to inform you that the Director General has approved the pasing out of the 2021 Batch “B” stream I corps member for JULY 7th 2022. The programme will be ceremonial with state Governors/FCT minister presiding over the event.
2. Accordingly, below is the programme of activities;
i. JUNE 29th -3 0th 2022
(a) Job Awareness and Creation Week. Sensitization of corps members on JOb creation/opportunities after service. This will be done at the Local Government level using relevant officers/NYSC/NDE officers
(b) Lectures/Seminars on Job opportunities by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) at zonal Level
ii. JULY 1st-3rd 2022
(a) Release of passing out corp members by employers
(b) Registration/Clearing of Corps Members by Local Government inspectors. Information on conditions for issuance of certificates of National Service.
iii. JULY 4th 2022
(a) Parade Rehearsal
(b) Final Clearance by Zonal inspectors
iv. JULY 5th 2022
(a) Parade Rehearsal
(b) Final Clearance by Zonal Inspectors
(c) Debriefing/Evaluation of Service Year
(d) Administration of Questionnaire (form 4b) on 30% of the passing corps members
V. JULY 6th 2022
(a) Final Parade Rehearsal
(b) State Farewell party to be organized by the state Government and be presided over by the Governor of the state.
vi. JULY 7th 2022
(a) Passing Out Ceremony to be presided over by the Governor of the state
(b) Distribution of certificates of National Service to deserving corps members
