Amid the ongoing ASUU strike, Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba has re-signed his appointment as member of the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Executive Council, FEC.
CAMPUS GIST reports that Nwajiuba, who is gunning to become president in 2023, resigned in a letter addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was confirmed by the President, who, at the meeting on Wednesday ordered every member of FEC who have ambition to contest elective offices to resign on or before May 16.
