UNIBEN CERHI rated Best Performing Centre in Nigeria

The Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation (CERHI), University of Benin, has been rated as the best performing centre in Nigeria.

This follows the centre’s achievement of the World Bank’s Disbursement Linked Indicators at the on-going West African Conference in Cotonou, Republic of Benin.

The Centre Leader of CERHI, Professor Friday Okonofua, who is currently attending the Conference made the announcement, Tuesday, according to a post on CERHI’s Facebook page.

He congratulated and appreciated the University’s transformational and dynamic Vice Chancellor, Professor Lilian Salami, for her commitment and support that have translated to immense growth and development of the Centre.

Professor Okonofua also hailed the hard working staff and associates of CERHI for their dedication.

Since its inception in 2014, CERHI, UNIBEN, has been making impact in the health sector in the country including contributing manpower and state of the art equipment to efforts to check the COVID-19 pandemic. Programmes offered by CERHI include: MSc and PhD in Reproductive Health; MPH and PhD in Public Health with specialization in Reproductive and Family Health; MSc and PhD in Nursing Sciences; MSc and PhD in Health Economics; MSc and PhD in Maternal and Child Health Nursing, and other short courses.
