The Edo State College of Nursing Sciences, in Benin City, has announced admissions into the Basic Nursing Programme (3rd Cohort), at the College.
In a statement, the institution’s Registrar, Osayuki J. Obaseki, said application opens Tuesday 19th July and closes Tuesday 30th August, 2022, at 12:00 PM.
“Applications are hereby invited from qualified male and female candidates for admission into the programme”, Mr. Obaseki added.
He said the programme is for a study period of three (3) years.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must possess:
1. WAEC/NECO (O’Level) OR NABTEB with at least five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
2. No Awaiting Result
3. Must be Seventeen (17) years old upon admission.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Applicants are to visit https://ecns.waeup.org, click on ‘Application’ to begin the application process and complete the registration form. They are to note their email and password as it will be required to log-in to complete the application.
2. Application fee is N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) to the College and N200.00 (Two hundred Naira only) to Nursing and Midwifery Committee, Edo State.
While warning candidates to be beware of fraudsters, the College’s Registrar revealed that hard copy application forms will not be sold by the institution.
He said applicants are required to have a functional email address and phone number for future contact and keep log-in details safe to check result.
Entry examination takes place September 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th, 2022. Time is 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Candidates are to check their portal for allotted time.
Venue of the entrance examination is at the Edo State College of Nursing Sciences’ Computer Lab, KM 6 Sapele road, by Godwin Abbe road, Benin City.
The statement added that, “only applicants with valid Government identification and payment receipt will be allowed into the CBT Examination Centre.”
