The WhatsApp message a Nigerian lecturer left in the group chat of his project students notifying them of his resignation has caused a buzz on social media.

The lecturer, identified as Dr. Oyedele, informed his students that he won’t be available to review their projects when ASUU calls off strike because he has resigned from the university.

He further disclosed that he has relocated out of the country in search of greener of greener pastures, and bade them farewell.

This comes on the heels of the lingering ASUU strike that began in February 2022 and doesn’t seem to have an end in sight.
