In continuation of her working visits to establishments and personalities, Vice President (Inter-Campus Affairs) of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comr Vanessa Egbeahie, has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Safety and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).
The NANS Vice President was received alongside members of her team including executive members of the NANS Joint Campus Committee (JCC) at the NSCDC Edo State Command, in Benin City.
Members of the team include Chairman of the Edo JCC, Comrade Peter Mmakwe, and the State’s Public Relations Officer, Comrade Blessing Osawaru.
Issues that came up at the front burner during the visit include how the NSCDC can foster peace at Nigerian higher institutions campuses at all time.
The NANS VP sought the corps’ collaboration in her new office and threw her weight behind the agency’s anti-cultism policy, and models at resolving conflicts on campus.
Comrade Vanessa also sought NSCDC’s partnership on various student-oriented programs in a bit to see that the students community benefit from such programs subsequently.
