The Joint Campus Committee (JCC) of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Edo State is welcoming candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Edo State.

Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the PDP and his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, will be in Benin City, the Edo State capital, Saturday, for their presidential rally.

In a statement on Friday, Chairman of the NANS JCC, Edo State axis, Comr Ediale Celeb Osamudiamhe said victory was sure for the PDP candidates in the 2023 presidential election.

“We are very excited and ready to receive our incoming President H.E Atiku Abubakar, GCON and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, CON to our dear state,” the Edo NANS JCC Chairman added.

Comrade Osamudiamhe expressed confidence that, with Atiku-Okowa, the main opposition party will emerge victorious in the 2023 presidential election, promising to mobilise massive support.

“We look forward to the visit with excitement and enthusiasm knowing that Edo remains a fortress for the party as the general election approaches,” he said, calling on the PDP not to relent in its efforts to “rescue Nigeria from the shackles of misgovernance.”

The PDP Presidential Rally for Edo State (South South) holds tomorrow, Saturday 22nd October, 2022 at the newly renovated International-standard Samuel Ogbemudia (Ogbe) Stadium, in Benin City, the Edo State capital, at 10:00AM.
