…Extends Program to Four More Deserving Pupils
“…My Effort is to Complement the School O’clock Program of the State Govt”, says Okunbor Jonathan
The Senior Special Assistant to Edo State Governor, Dcn Okunbor Jonathan today visited St. Thomas group of Schools at Abudu to meet with the pupils whose excellent performances have earned them a place in the ‘Okunbor Jonathan’ scholarship programme.
Recall that the SSA on Political Matters (Orhionmwon), last year launched the Scholarship programme in view of rewarding pupils and Junior School students with consistent excellent academic performances.
The Abudu-born administrator sees this scholarships to students as a way to stress on societal preference for hard work and diligence in studies and also to complement the School O’clock program of the State Government.
The four new beneficiaries from St Thomas Catholic School, Abudu, will join other 6 existing beneficiaries from different schools across Abudu.
Also present at the visit were Hon Omoruyi Godswill (Former SSA to the Govenor), and Mr. Eguavoen (PDP LGA youth leader).
