A lecturer with the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), in Nasarawa state, has joined forces with friends and family to beat up a student of the institution who fought his daughter over a man.
The lecturer identified as Dr Fred Ekpe Ayokhai of the Department of History and International Relations was captured on camera ruthlessly brutalising the 20-year-old student identified as Blessing Mathias.
According to reports, Blessing had fought with Dr Ayokhai’s daughter, one Miss Emmanuella for trying to snatch her boyfriend simply identified as ‘Mr. IG.’
CAMPUS GIST gathered that Blessing had causally introduced Mr. IG Emmanuella after telling her friend about all the nice things the ‘sugar daddy’ does for her.
Blessing confronted Emmanuella after she found out she stole her man’s number and was chatting with him. She had asked her friend to delete the number from her phone but Emmanuella blatantly refused leading to a fight.
In a viral video making the rounds, Blessing could be heard quizzing Emmanuella on why she has Mr. IG’s number saved on her phone and would later go on to throw punches at Emmanuella in her apartment.
Days later, Emmanuella in the company of her father, Dr Fred; brother, Praise Shola and other members of the lecturer’s family charged to Blessing’s lodge to give her the most inhuman treatment ever.
Viral videos on the internet show that the family beat up Blessing with sticks, wood, belt and later forced her into a car, driving her to an unknown location where the lecturer used a pair of scissors to cut off Blessing’s clothes from her body, rendering her naked.
They would later film the whole event and pushed Blessing out of the car, leaving her half-dead in the bush in Nasarawa where she was reportedly found by colleagues hours later.
