Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has lauded the University of Benin Alumni Association North America (UBAANA) for its kind donation of the sum of N5,760,000,00 to the University Management.
The University’s appreciation message was conveyed in a letter addressed to the President and members of UBAANA by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Lilian Salami.

A copy of the letter made available to CAMPUS GIST was dated November 28, 2022, and titled “letter of acknowledgement and appreciation.”
The donation by UBAANA, this online media reliably gathered, is for the purchase of computers and other accessories to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Exams and Records Division of the University.
Meanwhile, the University has since utilised the donation for the purchase of computers and other accessories to enhance the processing and issuance of transcripts to its Alumni worldwide.
The Vice Chancellor, who noted this, thanked UBAANA President, Mr Alex Eronmwon and members of the Association for the kind gesture and assured them that the items would be used for the purpose for which they were meant for.
Since inception, UBAANA has been actively involved in rallying support for the development of its Alma mater, offering tremendous help to the present administration. Only recently, the Association built and donated a relaxation centre to the Ekehuan campus of the University, in giving back to the society.
